Start a run

Learn how to start Fire Behaviour and Impact Analysis runs.

Updated over 2 months ago

The process to start a run is the same for a parent Fire Behaviour run and its child Impact Analysis run.

  1. From your project, find the run you want to start, and click on the run code.

Click on a Fire Behaviour run’s expand arrow to see its impact Analysis runs.

  2. Make any changes to the run’s inputs and configurations, and add any relevant details to its run description.

To edit a run description, click the pencil icon next to the run code. The rules on when you can edit these vary for different project types.

  3. In the top right of the screen, click Start run.

Before starting the run, the RMP will validate that all required inputs are present, not that the data is accurate. Check that you are satisfied with your data before continuing.

  4. Click Confirm.

When a run starts, its activity status will change to In progress. When the run is complete, its activity will change to Complete.
