Quality Assurance (QA) of runs
Quality Assurance (QA) of runs
Updated over 2 months ago

When a BFRMP run is complete, a RMP Admin user and National Parks and Wildlife Services (NPWS) user can submit a QA review.

  1. From the run you want to QA, click on QA Status in the top right corner.

  2. Click Rural Fire Service or National Parks and Wildlife Service, depending on your agency.

  3. Select your QA decision: Pass run or Reject run.

If you reject the run, you can also reject its parent Fire Behaviour run and its other Impact Analysis run by clicking the checkbox.

  4. Type a reason for your QA review.

  5. Click Submit review.

  6. If you Reject the run, review the list of other runs that will be implicated.

  7. Click Reject run.

The run’s QA status icon will now change.

The QA review process has the following implications:

  • To Accept a run, RFS needs to give a QA status of Pass, and NPWS needs to either pass it or not provide a response.

  • You cannot Accept a run that either RFS or NPWS has rejected.

  • Rejecting an already Accepted run removes the acceptance, and archives runs in subsequent scenarios.
