Rules for cloning runs

An overview of cloning runs and the rules that define it.

Updated over 2 months ago

Cloning a run is copying a previous run’s inputs and configurations to form the basis of a new run so that you can accurately test the effect of new input or configuration changes on your scenario.

You can clone runs in all project types except for Individual Treatment Comparisons (ITC) and Brigade Treatment Comparisons (BRG).

Cloning BFRMP project runs

You can make the following clones in BFRMP projects:

  • Current Risk (CR) run clones:

    • Another Current Risk (CR) run.

    • Future Risk without Treatment Run (FR)—automatically cloned when you Accept a Current Risk run.

  • Future Risk without Treatment (FR) run clones:

    • Another Future Risk without Treatment Run (FR). The parent must be the Accepted Current Risk (CR) run.

    • A Future Risk with Treatment run (FT). The parent must be the Accepted Future Risk without Treatment Run (FR).

  • Future Risk with Treatment Run (FT) clones

    • Another Future Risk without Treatment Run (FR). The parent must be the Accepted Future Risk without Treatment (FR) run.

When you Accept an Impact Analysis run, RMP automatically adds a Fire Behaviour run for the following scenario.
