Supplementary Wildfire History

An overview of Supplementary Wildfire History and the types of projects it can be added to.

Updated over a week ago

Supplementary Wildfire History (SuppWFH) is an input that allows you to incorporate fuel reduced areas that may not be reflected in the current recorded fire history. SuppWFH is incorporated into Phoenix as an additional burnt area, and adjusts fuel accumulation rates as any burn identified in the wildfire history datasets would. You can utilise SuppWFH to incorporate additional wildfire history that may yet be recorded in statewide datasets, or use it to make assessments of the risk reduction of proposed hazard reduction burns.
