Set up Future Risk with Treatment (FT)

Learn how to set up the your BFRMP FT run.

Updated over 2 months ago

When you accept a Future Risk (FR) run in a BFRMP project, the RMP automatically creates a Future Risk with Treatment (FT) scenario and requires you to replace and upload the required files, including the Fuel Management Register (FMR), to save you time. You cannot proceed until you complete these steps.

The Fuel package contains the ASCII raster used by Phoenix RapidFire and a georeferenced tif file, which allows you to view the different fuel types on the map.

The Fire History package contains the following ASCII raster used by Phoenix RapidFire and multiple feature class files that allow you to view different fires and hazard reduction burns on the map.

The Fuel Management Register (FMR) is a polygon shapefile that defines the proposed burns and mechanical activities for the BFMC. The RMP uses the FMR file only as a reference, but you can view it geospatially.

  1. From your project, you will see a new Future Risk Treatment run; click Open run.

  2. Upload the required Phoenix RapidFire inputs:

    1. Fuel package files

    2. Fire History package files

    3. Fuel Management Register (FMR) shapefile

  3. Click Upload files.

You can now start your first Future Risk with Treatment (FT) run.
