Introduction to the RMP

An overview of the RMP and its purpose.

Updated over a month ago

The Risk Modelling Platform (RMP) is a tool developed to support decision-making with quick and accessible data, assisting fire practitioners in designing and refining fire prevention and mitigation strategies.

Using the RMP, you modify inputs and configurations to replicate real-world scenarios and create risk products, including maps and spreadsheets, designed to communicate the risk results of a geographical area and all its assets. Risk products measure the likely impact on human settlements, financial loss and recovery costs, and environmental and heritage implications.

To learn how modelling projects work in the RMP, see How modelling projects work in the RMP.
