Create a Modelled Impact Time project

Learn how to create and setup a Modelled Impact Time project.

Step one: Create project

  1. On the RMP side navigation, click Local projects.

  2. Click Create project in the top right of the screen to open a pop-up window.

  3. Using the Type of project dropdown menu, select Modelled Impact Time.

  4. Type a project Description.

    Include the location and intent of your project.

  5. (Optional) Type any additional details or relevant notes about your project in the Notes field.

    You can edit your notes later.

  6. Click Next to review your project details and code.

    RMP automatically generates a unique Project code.

  7. (Optional) To edit any of the project’s details, click Back.

  8. When you are satisfied with the details of your project, click Create project.

When you create a project, you are the project owner.

Step two: Complete required setup steps

Upload Asset of Interest

An Asset of Interest is a polygon of the impacted asset, for example, a school, camping area, or festival ground.

  1. Upload your Asset of Interest polygon shapefile in a single .zip file.

    The shapefile can be one or multiple polygons.

  2. Click Upload files.

You can view your Asset of Interest geospatially on the map.

Upload Ignitions and Weather Streams

  1. Upload your Ignitions in a single .zip file.

  2. Select a weather package or drag and drop your Weather Streams in an XLSX file into the grey box.

  3. Click Upload files.

Running and managing your project

Step three: Start Run

  1. After Clicking start run a Model will appear to choose the run mode. the user is given a choice of running the project using either Phoenix or Spark by clicking on the radio button

  2. Decide if you want to run it in the cloud or On Premises

  3. When satisfied with the selected options click on the green button in the bottom right hand corner

Please ensure all options are double checked before proceeding
